- West GYSTC is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, and donations are tax deductible. Donations are welcomed from individuals and businesses.
- Donations can be for a specific project or for certain equipment. Donors are welcome to make suggestions, or the coordinator and board will guide the funds to programs that need extra support.
- The Murdock family has chosen West GYSTC as the administrator of a scholarship honoring the late Movelle Murdock, a long-time, successful mathematics teacher. The scholarship in her honor is given annually to a senior at Alexander High School pursuing a college education in mathematics, science, technology, or a related field.
